Red Storm will play three games during first foreign trip since 2013
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's men's basketball team will depart on Thursday for a nine-day international trip to the Dominican Republic.
While abroad, the Red Storm will play three games during a four-day span.

St. John's Men's Basketball last embarked on a foreign tour in 2013, when the team played international exhibitions in both France and Italy.
All 13 scholaship players will be making the nine-day trip, eight of whom are returners and five of whom are entering their first season with the Johnnies.
Two of those Johnnies are quite familiar with the team's destination, as David Jones and Joel Soriano have been mainstays of the Dominican national system throughout their playing careers.
