Join your fellow Johnnies on Sept. 19 at two iconic Long Island golf courses
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's men's basketball program will once again host the Lou Carnesecca Golf Classic on Monday, Sept. 19, at both North Hempstead Country Club and The Village Club of Sands Point.

Established in 2008 to honor the legacy of the legendary St. John's coach, the Carnesecca Golf Classic is one of the premier annual fundraisers for the Red Storm men's basketball team. Carnesecca, current men's basketball head coach Mike Anderson and university president Rev. Brian J. Shanley, O.P. are all expected to attend.

The evening's honorees will be announced at a later date.

Registration and brunch will begin at 10:30 a.m. at North Hempstead followed by a 12:30 shotgun start. After 18 holes of championship golf, a cocktail reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. at North Hempstead followed by the dinner and an auction at 6:30 p.m. Â
