St. John’s Hosts Graduate Students from Real Madrid Universidad

70 graduate students from Real Madrid visited St. John’s campus on Tuesday
QUEENS, N.Y.- St. John's hosted 70 students from Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europa on Tuesday, providing the group with an opportunity to learn about the day-to-day operations for the Red Storm's 17 NCAA Division I programs.
Tuesday's visit marks the second time in four months St. John's has welcomed students from Madrid to learn about the department and the university in a long-standing relationship between the two schools.
The sport management students began their visit to Queens with a presentation from The Lesley H. and William L. Collins College of Professional Studies, led by department chairman Dr. David Hedlund and sport management professor Robert Romano.
The St. John's Athletics Executive Staff followed with an overview of the foundations of intercollegiate sports along with the everyday responsibilities of an NCAA Division I college athletics department.
The graduate students closed out their visit to St. John's with an extensive tour of the campus and its athletic facilities.
