St. John’s Athletics Announces 2024-25 Men’s Basketball Promotional Schedule

Red Storm reveals season-long promotional schedule for home games at Carnesecca Arena and Madison Square Garden
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's Athletic Department has announced its men's basketball promotional schedule, which features a number of giveaways, theme nights and special offers for the 2024-25 campaign.
The Red Storm is scheduled to host 18 contests this season at Carnesecca Arena and Madison Square Garden, including 10 home dates against BIG EAST Conference opponents. Great seats are still available as the Johnnies embark upon the 118th season in the program's storied history.
Beginning on Nov. 4, St. John's welcomes Fordham to Queens on opening night as the first 2,500 fans will receive a St. John's Athletics bucket hat, courtesy of Maspeth Federal Savings. This season, Red Storm Basketball will also host a "Black Out" and reveal vintage black jerseys for a matchup with Kansas State as part of the Big 12-BIG EAST Battle inside Carnesecca Arena on Dec. 7.
St. John's Legends Series Bobblehead Night is scheduled for Jan. 4, 2025, as the program celebrates Lou Carnesecca's centennial birthday in Queens. The first 3,000 fans in attendance for the Johnnies' BIG EAST tilt against Butler will receive a Lou Carnesecca replica statue to honor the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer.
Other highlights from the 2024-25 promotional schedule include: Johnnies Kids Club Games, Employee Appreciation Night, Retro Day, First Responders Day and much more.
St. John's season opener against the Rams is set to tip-off at 6:30 p.m. at Carnesecca Arena.
The Red Storm will make its season debut at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Nov. 17, when it hosts New Mexico in the "NYC Hoops for Heroes" game supporting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
