St. John’s junior wing recorded 17 points and a career-high five 3-pointers in road victory over Butler on Wednesday

QUEENS, N.Y. – Junior wing Glenn Taylor Jr. was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday following one of his top performances of the season in the Red Storm's victory at Butler on Feb. 28.

Taylor scored a team-high 17 points shooting 6-for-8 from the field in a 23-point win over the Bulldogs at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Las Vegas native drained a career-high five 3-pointers to propel St. John's to its third-straight victory. The 6-foot-6 forward also recorded three rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Over the last two games, Taylor has averaged 10.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals.

St. John's (17-12, 9-9) returns to action on Tuesday in Chicago taking on DePaul. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET. FS1 will carry the national telecast from Wintrust Arena.
