Rick Pitino Joins the Red Storm Report Ahead of Friday Night’s Matchup

The Red Storm men’s and women’s basketball show to premiere at 6 p.m. on MSGSN
QUEENS, N.Y. – The fifth episode of The Red Storm Report, a weekly television series providing an inside look at the St. John's Men's and Women's Basketball programs, will air tonight at 6 p.m. and immediately following at 6:30 p.m. on MSG Sports Network (MSGSN).
Following the first two showings of the episode, the No. 12/10 St. John's men's basketball team will take on No. 19/18 UConn at 8 p.m. on FOX.
Episode five of the 10-episode series will re-air on Saturday at 1:30 a.m. and again at 11 a.m. on MSGSN.
Full episodes of the 10-week series will be available through SJU-TV All-Access video player at RedStormSports.com after the original air dates while individual segments will be available on the St. John's Red Storm YouTube Channel.
The Red Storm Report is a 30-minute magazine-style show produced by the St. John's Television Network (SJU-TV). Host Brandon Tierney provides the audience with feature player profiles, behind-the-scenes content, game recaps and a variety of recurring segments, including "Inside St. John's Women's Basketball," each week.
Tierney will sit down with Hall of Fame Head Coach Rick Pitino as he discusses the Johnnies' second top-20 matchup in four days and the state of the program off to its best start since 1985-86 at 20-3.
The men's basketball player profile will feature starting forward Aaron Scott and the women's basketball profile will feature graduate student guard Ariana Vanderhoop.
