St. John’s to Host Towson for Exhibition Contest on October 18

Red Storm and Tigers will tip-off at 2 p.m. inside Carnesecca Arena
QUEENS, N.Y. – As part of the St. John's University Homecoming Week, the defending BIG EAST Champion St. John's Men's Basketball team will compete for the first time in an exhibition contest against Towson on Oct. 18 at 2 p.m.
The Red Storm and Tigers will meet in an exhibition contest for the second consecutive year inside Carnesecca Arena. In last year's meeting, St. John's downed Towson, 64-46, on Oct. 26, 2024. The Johnnies' defense forced the visitors into 25 turnovers and 28.8% shooting from field goal range.
All full season ticket holders will have the exhibition game included in their season ticket packages. Limited single-game tickets will be available at a later date.
The exhibition will mark the first of two preseason battles for the Red Storm as it will take on Michigan in the Bad Boy Mowers Series- New York at Madison Square Garden at 7 p.m.
The Red Storm's regular season non-conference slated features three games at the World's Most Famous Arena against Alabama (Nov. 8), Ole Miss (Dec. 6) and Iona (Dec. 13). Additionally, the Johnnies will take on Iowa State (Nov. 24) and Baylor (Nov. 25) at the Players Era Championship in Las Vegas and Kentucky (Dec. 20) at the CBS Sports Classic.
