Pitino joins hosts Kevin McNamara and John Rooke to discuss the Red Storm's 10-game winning streak, his return to Providence on Saturday and the upcoming February slate as the postseason inches near.
Pitino, in his third season leading St. John's, has led the Red Storm to a 19-5 record and a 12-1 mark in BIG EAST play. The Johnnies have won 10 consecutive contests dating back to Jan. 6, tied for the second longest BIG EAST winning streak in program history.
The 2013 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee has added to his lengthy list of career milestones in recent weeks. On Jan. 24 at Xavier, Pitino captured his 900th career victory in an 88-83 victory. On Monday, Pitino made history once again guiding the Red Storm to an overtime victory over the Musketeers, 87-82. The win marked the 904th victory of his career moving past Roy Williams for third all-time on NCAA Division I career wins list.
