SVG, NACDA will reveal winners at 2015 College Sports Summit in Atlanta, Ga., on May 28.
Barney Carleton began working in 2013 as a Graduate Assistant with the St. John's University's Athletic Communications Department, where he oversees Multimedia Operations and staffing. Barney graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. John's University with a B.S.in Sport Management in 2012 and is now pursuing his M.B.A. in Executive Management.
Before being named Graduate Assistant, Barney was a Sports Information Intern for St. John's University. Barney's resume is extensive including internships with NBC Sports, Major League Baseball and Fordham University.
As an undergraduate at St. John's University, Barney was the founding President of the Sport Management Association, a student-run organization that applies what is learned in the classroom to a real-life setting.
A native New Yorker, Barney is an alum of Fordham Preparatory School in the Bronx.
