Bio
Miller On Rosson: 'Jack is a workhorse at the face-off X. He has the ability to physically dominate, and has worked hard to become a better technician. He can play at both ends of the field which makes him better than a traditional face-off man. We will try to use him more efficiently, and avoid running him down late in games this season.'
As A Junior In 2007: Helped the Red Storm to a Top 35 NCAA ranking in face-off win percentage all season long ... went 98-for-198 from the X ... was individually listed on the NCAA Top 100 for face-off win percentage (.495) and ground balls per game (4.69) ... ranked as high as 19th in ground balls per game ... sunk the game-winning goal, scoring off a fourth period opening face-off against Hobart (April 21) ... had a season high three points against Georgetown (March 3) ... picked up a career-high 13 ground balls against Quinnipiac (March 13) ... had a career-best game in face-offs against Quinnipiac (March), going 12-for-18 ... led the team in ground balls with 61.
As A Sophomore In 2006: Saw action in 13 games and started 10 ... ranked third on the team in points with 15 and 13 goals ... took 68 shots ... was 13-for-28 from the X ... picked up 17 groundballs ... caused one turnover...scored two goals on five occasions.
