St. John’s Lacrosse Releases 2026 Schedule

Red Storm’s slate features eight home contests; the program’s highest total since 2017
QUEENS, N.Y. – St. John's Lacrosse Head Coach Justin Turri unveiled the Red Storm's 14-game schedule for the 2026 season on Tuesday.
The Johnnies enter 2026 following another strong campaign, matching their highest win total since 2019. The Red Storm will play eight games at Cox Family Field at Belson Stadium in Queens and six on the road. In total, seven opponents on the slate finished inside the top-40 of last season's RPI.
Broadcast destinations and promotions for the 2026 season will be released at a later date.
The Red Storm return two of its top three scorers from last season in redshirt junior Adrian Nowak and sophomore Ryan Ormond, who combined for 47 goals . The roster features 20 newcomers comprised of 16 freshmen and four additions from the transfer portal.
The Johnnies will open their 2026 campaign with three preseason scrimmages. beginning with matchups against Sacred Heart at 10 a.m. and Monmouth at 2 p.m. on Jan. 24. St. John's will then head to Hanover, N.H., for its final tune-up, taking on Dartmouth on Feb. 1 at 12 p.m.
The regular season will begin on Feb. 7, as St. John's opens against NJIT at Cox Family Field at Belson Stadium at 1 p.m. The contest will mark the third straight year the Johnnies will open the season against the Highlanders. In last year's meeting, the Red Storm outlasted NJIT, 15-14, as Nowak tied a program single-game record since reinstatement dishing out seven assists in Newark.
The following weekend, the Johnnies will host Delaware for a 1 p.m. matchup on Valentine's Day at 1 p.m. This marks the fourth straight meeting between the two programs.
St. John's will begin a three-game road swing with a midweek matchup against Quinnipiac in on Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. In last season's meeting, the Johnnies defeated the Bobcats fueled by a seven-point performance from Adrian Nowak.
On Saturday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. the Red Storm will make the short trip to Hofstra for the 28th all-time meeting and the 17th consecutive season the two schools separated by just 10 miles.
St. John's will close its three-game road stint on Feb. 28 at Lafayette for a 4 p.m. battle in Easton, Pa. The Johnnies and Leopards will meet for the first time in 18 years when the Red Storm held off Lafayette in a 9-3 victory on March 6, 2007.
The Johnnies then return home for five of their next six games in Queens during the month of March. St. John's will host Bryant on March 7 at 12 p.m. and Rutgers on March 10 at 3 p.m. at Cox Family Field at Belson Stadium.
The Red Storm will travel to Macon, Ga., for an 11 a.m. matchup with Mercer, marking second straight season the two teams will meet. In last year's contest, St. John's earned a 20–16 victory behind standout performances from Ormond, who netted four goals, and Nowak, who delivered a six-goal outing.
Turri's group will return to Queens for its non-conference finale against Brown on March 21 at 1 p.m. The meeting will mark the first-ever between the two programs.

St. John's makes its way to the nation's capital to take on the reigning BIG EAST champions, Georgetown on April 11 at 12 p.m. The Hoyas won their seven-straight conference tournament title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals in 2025.
The Red Storm will close out the regular season when it squares off against Providence on April 24 at 7:30 p.m.
The 2026 BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Championships presented by JEEP will be held for April 30–May 2 at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium in Providence, R.I. The top-four finishers will qualify to compete for the automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
