Miller On Fitton: 'Bobby is one of the most skilled players we have. He can play both the left-handed and right-handed attack spots equally well. Hopefully, we can keep him healthy this spring.'
As A Junior (2008): Played in two games, against Holy Cross (Feb. 16) and at Hobart (April 19) ... picked up a ground ball against Holy Cross.
As A Sophomore (2007): Scored a career high four goals at Bellarmine (Feb. 24) ... netted the game-winning goal in the Red Storm[apos]s narrow victory over Quinnipiac (March 13) ... ranked seventh on the team in points (5).
As A Freshman (2006): Ranked sixth on the team in points (10) and goals (six) ... was listed third on the team in assists with four ... collected 11 ground balls ... started seven of 12 games ... earned ECAC honor roll mention for the week of May 1.
Before St. John[apos]s: Named first team all-district and first team all region in back-to-back seasons (2004, 2005) at Oakton ... earned 2003 honorable mention All-Met by the Washington Post ... helped lead the team to three state titles, from 2003-05 ... also played football where he was named first team all-district and second team all-region in his senior season.
Off The Field: Robert Lee Fitton III ... born in Fairfax, Va. ... son of Robert Fitton and Charissa Harris ... has three brothers, Taylor (18), Ryan (7) and Quintin (4) along with two sisters, Lizzie (19) and Finleigh (7) ... plans to work within his family business building homes after graduation.
