As a Senior (2016): Played and started all 20 games … Scored two goals and added four assists to finish fourth on the team with eight points … Both of her goals were game-winners, which ranked second on the team … Took 32 shots on the year … Registered the assist on Alexis Urbanski’s game-winning goal in the 2016 season opener against CCSU (Aug. 19) … Chipped in a goal and an assist in the Johnnies’ 5-1 win over Fairfield (Sept. 4) … Assisted on the lone goal in a 1-0 victory over then-BIG EAST leading DePaul (Oct. 15) … Recorded the game-winning goal in the Red Storm’s 1-0 victory over Providence in the first round of the BIG EAST Championship (Nov. 1) … Assisted on the lone goal in the team’s 2-1 overtime loss to Marquette in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship (Nov. 4).
As a Junior (2015): Played in all 20 games for the Red Storm during a record-breaking season, starting 19 of those contests… Led the BIG EAST and ranked 27th nationally in assists with nine… Tied for second on the team in points… Recorded three shots against Towson (Aug. 23)… Picked up her first assist of the year against Colgate (Aug. 30)… Registered two shots in 73 minutes of action in an overtime win at Boston College (Sept. 6)… Recorded an assist against Richmond (Sept. 13)… Assisted on Rachel Daly’s game-winner against Seton Hall (Sept. 27)… Tallied the first multi-assist game of her career against Marquette (Oct. 4)… Registered two assists in a contest for the second time in three tries against Creighton (Oct. 11)… Assisted on the game-winner against Xavier (Oct. 22)… Sent a cross that led to the game-winner in the closing minutes at Providence (Oct. 30).
As a Sophomore (2014): Made 10 appearances during an injury-plagued sophomore campaign, starting six of those contests... Started the first six matches of the season before going down with an injury and missing a month and a half... Scored a goal in the Red Storm's season-opening victory against St. Francis (Pa.) (Aug. 22)... Returned to the pitch for the first time since Sept. 8 against Seton Hall (Oct. 25)... Picked up an assist in the Red Storm's BIG EAST Quarterfinal victory over Villanova (Nov. 4)... Played 41 minutes in the BIG EAST Semifinal against Georgetown (Nov. 7).
As A Freshman (2013): Played in all 21 games, started in 20... Concluded the season with third on the team in points (9) and tied for second in goals (4). Made her collegiate debut and first career start against Delaware (Aug. 23) and scored her first career goals, including the game-winner... Tallied three points on a goal and her first collegiate assist at CCSU (Sept. 6)... Scored the game-winning goal in a 3-2 overtime victory at Providence (Oct. 20).
At Sachem East:A four-year letterwinner and two-year captain (2011, 2012) for the Arrows ... a three-time Section XI All-County, All-Conference and All-League honoree (2010-13) ... helped Arrows finish second in Suffolk County League I with record of 8-2-2 and overall record of 11-2-2 in 2012 ... played club ball for the Intense Soccer Academy (ISA) Sting 94s ... played as part of Disney Showcase Finalist teams in 2009 and 2011, a PDA Showcase Group Championship squad in 2011 and was an Eastern New York State finalist team in 2009 ... also played as part of the Region I Premier League ... played for the Eastern New York South ODP for three years as part of the U-14 through U-16 squads ... U-16 squad advanced to the Region I ODP Semifinal in 2011.
Off the Pitch: Morgan Dorothea Lucia Tinari ... daughter of Fredrick and Elizabeth Tinari ... has five siblings, Rachael, Brenna, Matthew, Gregory, and Andrew ... brother Gregory played soccer for the Red Storm in 2007, before finishing his career at Stony Brook ... her sister Brenna played women's lacrosse at Manhattan College ... twin brother, Andrew, plays soccer at Columbia University ... enjoys playing soccer, watching TV, listening to music, and spending time with friends ... active in student government and was President of the Varsity Club in 2012-13, Vice President in 2011-12 ... favorite movie is Titanic ... a marketing major who wants to possibly pursue a career in business or law.
