Michael Robinson

Robinson is in his first year at St. John’s serving as a volunteer assistant coach with the track and field program. Before arriving in Queens, Robinson was the assistant coach at nearby Long Island University from 2009 to 2018.
During his time in Brooklyn, Robinson was an integral part of three NEC titles on the women’s side and six conference crowns on the men’s side. Robinson was also a part of a staff that won five coaching staff of the year awards. Robinson coached two Olympians and many more student-athletes to success in NCAA Championships.
Robinson graduated from the New York Institute of Technology in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in computer science, mathematics and business.
