Andre Deladrier

Deladrier had a 50-year tenure as fencing coach starting in the 1940's. During his tenure, he won two NCAA team championships and the IFA Championship in 1964. At St. John's, he is accredited for winning the 1942 NCAA Sabre Championship. As head coach of the U.S. Naval Academy team, he was the first coach to sweep the NCAA's in 1959. Deladrier was also the NFCAA coach of the year in 1959 and the head coach of the 1960 U.S. Olympic team.
