A BIG EAST Champion and school-record holder, Nnaji ranked first all-time at St. John's in the men's indoor long jump (24-6 ¾) at the time of his induction. Nnaji also ranked second in the men's outdoor triple jump (51-6 ½) and third in the men's indoor triple jump (49-6 ¼). Nnaji became a professor after receiving his Ph.D. in Engineering.
