A prolific shot blocker throughout his four years, Wennington was an integral part of the Redmen's run to the Final Four in 1985. He was ranked second in St. John's history with a .579 shooting percentage at the time of his induction and went on to win three NBA Championships with the Chicago Bulls as part of a successful 15-season professional career.
