The massive and powerful Johnson ranked first in St. John's history category at the time of his induction with 1,240 career boards. He also ranked fourth with 1,763 career points at the time of his induction, making him one of only two players in school history to score more than 1,000 points and pull down more than 1,000 rebounds. He averaged a career double-double, posting 15.1 points per game to go along with 10.6 rebounds per game.
