Bush was among one of the first players to play 40 at Madison Square Garden for the Redmen. After graduation, Bush took his precise and detailed playing style to the AAU Midwestern teams. He began a coaching career at University of Nebraska, where his career was highlighted by a victory over Wilt Chamberlain's Kansas Jayhawks.
