Once a student at St. John's Prep, Graham gave back to St. John's in many ways. After serving in the Korean War bringing spiritual aid and comfort to men in the Air Force, he returned to St. John's in a similar capacity for the St. John's student-athletes. He also coached swimming and acted as Moderator of Athletics, Treasurer and Vice President of Business Affairs.
