Johnson, a 5-foot-10 guard/forward, was the MVP of the 1988 BIG EAST Tournament after averaging 18.7 points and 5.3 assists over three games. She was nominated for the Kodak Women's All-America basketball team and was a two-time All-BIG EAST first team honoree. Johnson ranked fourth on St. John's all-time career scoring with 1,431 points and fourth on 71 the career rebounding with 661 boards at the time of her induction.
