Tom Farrell

One of the most decorated athletes in St. John's history, Farrell set a world record in the 880-meter and 600-meter race and was a two-time NCAA and IC4A 800-meter champion. He represented the United States at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics, placing fifth in the 800 meters at the 1964 games, as well as winning the bronze medal in the same event at the 1965 Mexico City Olympics. In 2000, Farrell returned to his alma mater, where he served as a volunteer assistant coach and mentor.
