SJU Baseball to Hold Clinics in December

Blankmeyer is entering his fifth year at the helm of the Red Storm program. After a standout career at Seton Hall, he was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 1976 and played one year in the minors before starting his coaching career. Since arriving at St. Johns, he has compiled a 145-102-3 overall record and a 63-44 BIG EAST record, guiding the Red Storm to the 1997 Conference Championship and the NCAA Tournament.
The first session, Exceptional High School Player Clinic and Evaluation, will be held on Wednesday, December 27. This session runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and tuition is $70.
The second and third sessions, focusing on Development in Hitting Mechanics, will be held on Thursday, December 28 and Friday, December 29. The second session will run from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., while the third session will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuition for each is $60.
Session four, focusing on Development of Pitching and Catching, will be held on Thursday, December 28 and Friday, December 29. The cost is $60 and it will run from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The final session, a Little League Clinic for children ages 7 to 12 and focusing on all-around development, will be held on Saturday, December 30. The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and the tuition is $50.
