Men's Hoop Game Against San Francisco Postponed

JAMAICA, N.Y. -- The St. John's University men's basketball game against the University of San Francisco, scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Alumni Hall, has been postponed due to inclement weather in the New York City area.

The game has been moved to Sunday, December 31 at noon, and will be played at Alumni Hall.

"We made this decision based on the safety of the teams, our fans and our staff," St. John's Associate Vice-President and Director of Athletics Ed Manetta said. "We did not want to jeopardize anyone by sending them out in this weather. We had alternatives in place, but our preference was to accommodate the University of San Francisco travel plans."
