SJU Baseball Rained Out at Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The St. Johns University baseball game against Charlotte, scheduled for 4 p.m. today, has been cancelled due to inclement weather in the area.
The Red Storm and the 49ers will not make up the game. St. Johns has left Charlotte for Wilmington, where they will play in the Hughes Bros. Baseball Challenge, beginning on Friday.
St. Johns opened the season last weekend, and has a 1-2 record entering this weekend. The Red Storm dropped a 2-1 decision to the College of William & Mary last Saturday and lost to Coastal Carolina, 10-1, on Sunday, before bouncing back to beat Coastal 3-1 on Monday.
This weekend, the Red Storm will face George Mason, Northern Iowa and host UNC-Wilmington, wrapping up their opening season road trip.
