SJU Baseball at Fairfield Postponed

The Red Storm and the Stags will play on Thursday at 3 p.m.
St. Johns (5-9) has won four its last five games, while the Stags are 7-5 overall and have won their last six games.
This is teams final tuneup before BIG EAST Conference play begins this weekend. The Red Storm, who finished 31-22 overall last season and placed fifth in the BIG EAST with a 13-13 slate, will host Villanova in a three-game set at The Ballpark at St. Johns University. The series begins with a doubleheader on Saturday (noon), and will conclude with a single game on Sunday (noon).
In other SJU baseball news, Head Coach Ed Blankmeyer will be hosting a Spring Baseball Clinic on Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The camp, open to kids ages six to 13 (grades one through eight), is intended to help prepare each player for their little league or junior high season.
