Carnesecca Dedication Highlights Red Storm Report Debut

December 10, 2004, Queens, NY - The Red Storm Report, a 30-minute program highlighting the St. John's University men's basketball team, will debut on Sunday, December 12 at 11 p.m. on the Madison Square Garden television network.
The first installment of the show will feature the University's dedication to Lou Carnesecca with the renaming of its court and arena in his honor. Interviews of former players, opposing coaches and college basketball aficionados highlight the 30-minute tribute to the St. John's Hall of Fame coach.
The special edition program hosted by MSG's John Giannone will air following SportsDesk on Sunday evening and be rebroadcast four more times on the network. The show will air on December 15 (2:30 p.m.), December 16 (at 6:30 p.m., December 24 (7:30 p.m.) and December 27 (10:30 p.m.).
The show can also be seen on Fox-NY, with air dates on Wednesday, December 22 (7 p.m.) and Wednesday, December 29 (4 p.m.).
In addition, College Sports Television (CSTV) will package the shows and televise The Red Storm Report beginning in mid-December (dates and times to be announced).
St. John's Head Coach Norm Roberts and his 2004-05 Red Storm squad will be featured on future shows beginning on January 7th. The Red Storm Report will run through March 2005 and air every Friday night at 11:30 p.m. with a rebroadcast on Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. before MSG's College Basketball Game of the Week.
