Baseball Doubleheader Against Fairleigh Dickinson Canceled

QUEENS, N.Y. - Today's baseball doubleheader between St. John's and Fairleigh Dickinson has been canceled because of snow showers and cold temperatures in the area. No makeup date has yet been announced.
St. John's resumes its 2006 schedule this weekend when it travels to Pittsburgh for a three-game BIG EAST series, beginning on Friday, April 7 at 7 p.m. The Red Storm enters the Friday contest on a 12-game win streak, including a 6-0 start in conference play. St. John's sits alone in first place in the BIG EAST with its unbeaten record and begins its conference schedule with six straight wins for just the second time in school history.
