QUEENS, N.Y. -
- St. John's improves to 65-35 in the Holiday Festival. The Red Storm has won two of the past three festivals.
- The Red Storm led at the half 31-24 and have led at the half eight times this season. The squad is 5-3 when leading at halftime.
- St. John's shot over 40.0% from the floor for the seventh time this season. The team finished the game 22-52 (42.3%) and is now 5-2 when shooting at least 40.0% from the floor.
- St. John's has allowed fewer than 60 points three times this season and is 3-0 in such games. The squad is allowing just 65.0 points per game.
- Three players scored in double-figures for the Red Storm. It is the seventh time this season that at least three players have scored in double-figures and the team is 5-2 when such a feat is accomplished.
- D.J. Kennedy finished with three assists and has now recorded an assist in ten consecutive games. With one steal, Kennedy has now grabbed at least one steal in eight of ten games.
- Larry Wright finished with one 3-pointer and six points. Wright has drained a 3-pointer in eight games this year.
- Eugene Lawrence recorded two steals and remains in seventh place on the all-time list with 166 in his career. Erick Barkley holds the sixth spot with 167 career steals.
- Lawrence also tied career highs with seven free throws made and ten attempts.
- Tomas Jasiulionis established a new career-high with 12 points. Jasiulionis also started for the ninth time this season which is just one start shy of his career-high of ten in 2006-07.
- Jasiulionis also connected on his first career 3-pointer on just his sixth attempt. The junior center has now scored in three straight games, a span which has seen him score 18 points.
- With two points, Rob Thomas has scored in all four games since making his collegiate debut. Thomas also picked up his first career steal.
- For the third straight game Anthony Mason Jr. reached double figures. Mason finished with 12 points after scoring 17 at Hawaii and 18 vs. Tulane.
- Justin Burrell reached double-figures for the eighth time this season as he finished with ten points.
