- The win over No. 7/10 Notre Dame is St. John's sixth win over a ranked opponent under the tenure of head coach Norm Roberts.

- Justin Burrell tallied a season-high 18 points on 5-of-13 shooting from the floor. The sophomore was also 1-of-1 from beyond the arc; improving to 4-of-7 from long range on the season. Burrell has reached double-figures seven times this season.
- After missing the Providence game due to illness, Rob Thomas returned to score 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting. Thomas also added five rebounds, three offensive.
