St. John's Ranked No. 22 In Soccer America Poll

QUEENS, N.Y. - With a current eight-game unbeaten streak, the St. John's men's soccer team (5-2-8, 4-1-4) has returned to the top 25 with a No. 22 ranking in the Soccer America poll. The Red Storm is 3-0-5 in its past eight games, including a 1-0-2 record against ranked opponents.
The current eight-game unbeaten streak began with a 0-0 draw at Providence on Sept. 27 and continued with a 1-1 tie at Villanova. After a 2-0 win against Rutgers, St. John's earned 1-1 draws with both then-No. 3 USF and Princeton. The Red Storm defeated then-No. 7 Louisville, 3-2, in overtime, tied then-No. 18 Brown, 1-1, and beat Cincinnati, 2-1.
St. John's, which clinched a berth to the BIG EAST Tournament after the Cincinnati win, has two regular season games remaining on the schedule. The Red Storm will travel to Syracuse on Oct. 28 before hosting DePaul on Oct. 31.
