St. John's Featured On Inside The BIG EAST

QUEENS, N.Y. - The No. 22 St. John's men's soccer team will be featured on this week's episode of Inside The BIG EAST. The episode will air on SportsNet New York (SNY) on Friday, Oct. 30 at 4:30 p.m., and will have a replay at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. ESPNU will also carry the show at 5 p.m. on Oct. 30.
Senior Nelson Becerra, and juniors Tadeu Terra and Sverre Wegge Gundhus were interviewed for the feature, which will focus on the program and its run of success with Dr. Dave Masur at the helm. In addition to the Red Storm men's soccer team, the episode will have features on both the men's and women's basketball media days and a football week in review.
Inside The BIG EAST is a weekly magazine show that highlights the athletic interests of the schools in the BIG EAST conference. Televised on numerous affiliates both locally and nationally, including SNY and ESPNU, the show is also distributed on regional sports networks throughout the country.
St. John's (5-2-8, 4-1-4) clinched a berth to the BIG EAST Tournament with a 2-1 win at Cincinnati and has two games remaining on the regular season schedule. The Red Storm hosts DePaul at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 31 before traveling to Syracuse for a 6 p.m. game on Nov. 1 to close out the regular season.
