QUEENS, N.Y. - Team Notes

St. John's, which entered the contest ranked second in the nation in fewest turnovers per game (9.5), finished with just eight turnovers to match a season-low. The Red Storm has registered just eight turnovers five times this season, including each of the past three games.
St. John's turned 19 St. Bonaventure turnovers into 21 points. The squad also recorded 14 steals and is averaging 13.0 steals per game in the past three contests.
Including two players in double-figures, St. John's had nine players with at least one point and one rebound.
The St. John's bench totaled 31 points and is now averaging 29.0 points per game.

Individual Notes

Dwight Hardy poured in a career-high 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the floor. Hardy used a 4-for-9 effort from long-range to help eclipse his previous career-high of 19 points, which he had reached three times (most recently against Villanova on Jan. 23, 2010). Hardy is averaging 14.6 points per game in the past five contests and has made at least one 3-pointer in each of those games.
Justin Brownlee finished with 14 points, four rebounds and a career-high four assists. The senior, who reached double-figures for the sixth-straight game, is averaging 16.5 points per game in that same stretch.
Malik Boothe dished out a game-high five assists and had no turnovers. Boothe, who has 19 assists and just five turnovers in the past four games, also finished with a team-high six boards.
With a six-point performance, Paris Horne now has 989 career points.
Sean Evans made his first start of the season and finished with one point, one rebound and two steals.
