NEW YORK -
- St. John's had a +8 advantage (36-28) on the boards and is 10-3 this year when outrebounding the opposition. When the teams met on Jan. 9, the Red Storm was -11 (33-44) on the boards.
- St. John's attempted 27 free throws, while allowing Louisville just 18 attempts. The Red Storm is 3-1 in BIG EAST play, and 9-1 overall, when attempting more free throws than the opponent.

- With 14 points, Justin Burrell tallied double-figures for the fourth-straight game. In that span, the junior is 20-for-36 (55.6 percent) from the floor. Burrell also grabbed eight rebounds and is averaging 5.8 boards in the past five games.
- Justin Brownlee had eight points and four rebounds and is averaging 9.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in the past two games.
- Rob Thomas played for the first time since Jan. 17 against DePaul and finished with a season-high four points.
