QUEENS, N.Y. - After a midweek win at Boston College, St. John's concludes regular season play with a three-game set at Rutgers. The teams open the series at 1 p.m. on May 20 before continuing with a 1 p.m. game on May 21. The series concludes with a 1 p.m. first pitch on May 22.

- St. John's and Rutgers have met 74 times in a series that dates back to 1957.
- The Red Storm leads the series 43-31, including three-game sweeps in both 2008 and 2009.
Scouting The Scarlet Knights (26-23, 13-11)
- Rutgers took two of three games against Seton Hall this past weekend and is coming off a midweek win against FDU. Rutgers is 12-3 this year at home.
- Pat Biserta paces the offense with a team-best 18 home runs and team-high 53 RBI.

Seven Homer Day At BC Includes Back-To-Back-To-Back Blasts
- St. John's launched a season-best seven home runs on May 18 in a 17-9 win at Boston College.
- Joe Panik and Jeremy Baltz each homered twice, while Greg Hopkins, Jimmy Parque and Sean O'Hare added one apiece.
- Baltz, Hopkins and Parque connected on back-to-back-to-back home runs in the fourth inning.
First-Career Home Run For O'Hare Is Grand
- Freshman Sean O'Hare connected on his first-career home run in a 17-9 win against Boston College on May 18, a two-out grand slam in a nine-run third inning for the Red Storm.
- The grand slam was the third of the season for St. John's. Jeremy Baltz accomplished the feat on April 1 against Seton Hall, while Paul Karmas had the season's first in a 31-6 win against UNO on Feb. 21.
Baltz Named BIG EAST Player Of The Week And One Of The Louisville Slugger National Players Of The Week
- Highlighted by his four home run and seven RBI performance against No. 8 Louisville, Jeremy Baltz was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week and was selected by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper as one of the Louisville Slugger National Players of the Week.
- Baltz batted .500 (9-for-18) with five home runs, two doubles, nine RBI and nine runs scored.
- The freshman had 26 total bases, a 1.444 slugging percentage and a .526 on-base percentage in four games.
Baltz Sets New Single Season Records For Home Runs And RBI
- With his epic four home run and seven RBI performance against No. 8 Louisville on May 14, freshman Jeremy Baltz set new single season St. John's records in both home runs and RBI.
- Baltz, who entered the game with 14 homers and 61 RBI, finished the day with 18 home runs and 68 RBI.
- The previous school-record for home runs was 16 (Mike Dzurilla-1999, Chris Fallon-2000), while the previous RBI mark was 65 (Dzurilla-1999).
