Team Notes
- St. John's finished with just one player in double-figures for the first time this season. The Red Storm had finished with at least two players in double-figures in each of the previous 23 games this season.
- The Red Storm shot 5-of-12 (41.7 percent) from 3-point range and is shooting 19-of-41 (46.3) percent from beyond the arc in the past three games.
- St. John's shot just 32.8 percent (19-of-58) from the floor, snapping a stretch of six-straight games with a shooting percentage of at least 40.0 percent.
- The Red Storm had just 11 turnovers against a Bearcat team that entered the game ranked second in the BIG EAST with a +4.5 turnover margin. St. John's also forced 16 Cincinnati turnovers, marking just the fifth time this season that Bearcats had more turnovers than its opposition.

Individual Notes
- D'Angelo Harrison recorded his 20th-career double-figure scoring game with a game-high 15 points. Harrison also notched his sixth-straight multi-trey game with a 2-of-4 performance and is shooting 53.3 percent (24-of-45) from long range in that same stretch.
- Starting for the sixth-straight game, Amir Garrett totaled seven points and one board. The freshman is averaging 9.2 points and 5.0 rebounds as a starter.
- Moe Harkless finished with a season-low six points, failing to reach double-figures for just the fourth time this season.
- Phil Greene scored eight points and is averaging 11.4 points per game in the last seven contests. Greene is also dishing out 4.1 assists per game in that same stretch.
- Jamal White drained a pair of 3s in just two minutes of action and set a new career-high with six points.
