SCHEDULE UPDATE: April 1 Meeting With NYIT Changed To Doubleheader

QUEENS, N.Y. - Head coach Ed Blankmeyer has announced that St. John's will play a doubleheader against NYIT on April 1 instead of the originally scheduled single game. First pitch time for game one has been moved up to 2 p.m. and the teams will play a pair of seven-inning games.
St. John's (6-11) has won four-straight games and is 5-1 in its past six contests. The Red Storm is batting .392 during the four-game winning streak, while outscoring its opponents by a 44-22 margin.
The Red Storm is 40-11 all-time against the Bears in a series that dates back to 1972 and has won seven of the past nine meetings, including three-straight.
