QUEENS, N.Y. - Reigning Haggerty Award winner D'Angelo Harrison was named Player of the Week by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) on Tuesday, one day after the senior guard collected BIG EAST Player of the Week honors. Harrison averaged 20.0 points and 6.0 rebounds to help lift the Red Storm to a pair of wins over Syracuse and Niagara. The award is given to the top performer from Dec. 1 - 7 among the 73 metropolitan area schools across Divisions I, II and III.
