QUEENS, N.Y. - Team Notes
- St. John's made a school-record 16 3-pointers in the game, surpassing the old mark of 13. The Red Storm previously made 13 3s against both Bryant (Dec. 23, 2009) and North Florida (Nov. 10, 2006).
- St. John's committed just six turnovers, the 14th time this season that squad has finished a game with fewer than 10 miscues. The Red Storm is 7-7 in such contests.

- Max Hooper reached double-figures for the third time this season with a career-high 18 points, his highest-scoring performance since netting 13 points at Georgetown on Jan. 4, 2014. Hooper also made a career-high six 3-pointers (6-of-12) besting his previous mark of five 3s (5-of-8) against Penn State on Nov. 29, 2013.
- JaKarr Sampson finished with 11 points to reach double-figures for the 26th time this season and 55th time in his career. Sampson also matched a career-high with three assists.
- D'Angelo Harrison went 3-of-6 from long range to record his 18th multi-trey game of the season, including his 11th game with at least three 3s. Harrison also dished out three assists and has averaged 3.8 assists in the past five games.
- Orlando Sanchez scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds, his fourth-straight game with at least six boards. Sanchez has averaged 8.5 rebounds in the last four games.
- Marco Bourgault made 2-of-4 3-pointers to notch his second multi-trey game of the season and first since a 3-of-3 effort on Dec. 7, 2013 against Fordham.
