St. John's shot 53.3 percent in the second half, the fifth-best shooting percentage for the squad in either half this season. The Red Storm has shot 50.0 percent or better in a half on six occasions this season.
St. John's made 27 field goals, the most since making 30 baskets earlier this season against Syracuse (Dec. 13).
The Red Storm committed just 12 turnovers in the contest, the fourth game this season with 12 or fewer miscues.
St. John's held Creighton to just 31.8 percent (7-of-22) from long range. The Bluejays entered the game shooting a league-leading 40.1 percent from distance and making a league-high 9.3 treys per game.

Individual Notes

Malik Ellison scored a career-high 17 points and matched a career-high with six rebounds. The freshman finished 5-of-7 from the floor and 6-of-6 from the free throw line.
Durand Johnson reached double-figures for the fifth-straight game with a 14-point effort. Johnson is tied for the team-lead with 10 double-figure games this season.
Yankuba Sima finished with 12 points to register his fifth-career double-figure game. Sima was held without a block for the first time this season.
Playing in his first game since Dec. 13 (Syracuse), Felix Balamou made his first start of the season and totaled nine points to go with five assists.
