Homestand Concludes As St. John's Hosts Central Connecticut State

QUEENS, N.Y. - After opening BIG EAST play with a scoreless draw against Marquette, St. John's (1-6-2) concludes an eight-game homestand at Belson Stadium and closes out regular season non-conference action against Central Connecticut State (2-4-1).
The Red Storm and Blue Devils take the field for a 7:30 p.m. game on Sept. 29.

- Stagmiller went 0-0-1 with one shutout and a 0.58 goals against average to go with a .909 save percentage in two games.
- The keeper played the first half and allowed one goal in an eventual 1-1 draw against Quinnipiac (Sept. 22) before posting his first shutout of the season with the nine-save effort against Marquette (Sept. 26).
- The nine saves bested a previous high of eight, which Stagmiller also set against Marquette on Oct. 11, 2014.
