SJU-TV to Broadcast 11 Softball Games on ESPN3

QUEENS, N.Y. -- As part of a production agreement with the Worldwide Leader in Sports, the St. John's University Television Network (SJU-TV) will produce 11 St. John's softball games this fall that will be carried live to more than 99 million homes on ESPN3.
The ESPN3 slate for softball includes the home-opener against Stonybrook (March 16), all four games during the St. John's Invitational (March 18-19), as well as home games against NCAA tournament qualifier Fordham (March 23), double header versus Saint Peter's (DH/April 6) and BIG EAST foe Creighton (May 1). The Red Storm will wrap up the ESPN3 schedule with a 2015 BIG EAST Championship double header rematch against cross-town rival Seton Hall (May 7).
In addition to 11 broadcasts on ESPN3, St. John's will appear three times on the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN) as part of FOX's agreement with the conference. The BEDN schedule for softball features road matchups at Villanova (April 3) and DePaul (April 24) as well as the regular-season finale versus Seton Hall (May 8). BEDN games can be streamed live through FOX's mobile platform, FOX Sports Go, the app that provides live streaming video of FOX Sports content at home or on-the-go.
The Red Storm will also be featured on SEC Network+ when it travels to play Auburn on Feb. 27. SEC Network+ can be streamed via WatchESPN.com or on smartphones and tablets on the ESPN app.
St. John's will have a total of 29 live games produced by SJU-TV for ESPN3 in the spring season, including the 11 softball games as well as five lacrosse matches and 13 baseball contests.
SJU-TV live-game productions feature four-camera H.D. broadcasts with full graphics integration, instant replay, and both a play-by-play announcer and color analyst to give fans a high-quality viewing experience. ESPN3 is accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the ESPN app and streamed on televisions through Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
