Bracket Announced For BIG EAST Championship Presented By Jeep

QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's (27-24-1) will look to defend its BIG EAST Tournament title as the No. 4 seed in the upcoming 2016 BIG EAST Championship Presented By Jeep, which will be held in Aberdeen, Md., at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium. The Red Storm will open postseason play on May 26 with a 3:30 p.m. game against No. 1 Xavier (27-28). Click here to view the entire bracket.
St. John's is making its conference-record 25th appearance in the BIG EAST Championship and has a 47-35 (.573) all-time record. The Red Storm has won a conference-record eight Tournament crowns (2015, 2012, 2010, 1997, 1993, 1988, 1986 and 1985) and has finished as runners-up on three occasions (2011, 1999 and 1991).
All games played on the first three days (May 26-28) of the four-day Championship will be carried live on BEDN. Both the championship game as well as the if-necessary game on May 29 will air live on FS2.
