QUEENS, N.Y. - Due to heavy rainfall in the area, tonight's "St. John's Night" at MCU Park, home of the Brooklyn Cyclones, has been cancelled. As of now, the game between the Cyclones and the Lowell Spinners is scheduled to begin on time.
Anton Goff, St. John's Director of Athletics, was set to throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the start of the contest between the Cyclones and the Spinners, an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. No date has been set for a rescheduled "St. John's Night".
Fans who picked up free tickets or purchased discounted field level tickets will still be able to use those tickets for tonight's game. For the status of tonight's contest, visit BrooklynCyclones.com. If tonight's game is cancelled, those who purchased a discounted ticket can exchange tonight's ticket for any remaining game this season. If the "St. John's Night" event is rescheduled, the Cyclones will honor all free ticket recipients at that game.
