Sedee Keita Undergoes Successful Surgery on Right Knee

Redshirt sophomore forward sidelined approximately 4-6 weeks
QUEENS, N.Y. – Redshirt sophomore forward Sedee Keita will miss approximately 4-6 weeks after undergoing a successful surgery on his right knee. The Philadelphia native played just four minutes of his first collegiate start on Friday night against Bowling Green before exiting the game because of the injury.
NewYork-Presbyterian Queens' Dr. Tony Quach, Associate Director of Sports Medicine, performed the arthroscopy of his right knee on Wednesday morning.
St. John's returns to action at Rutgers on Friday night as part of the Gavitt Tipoff Games. BTN will carry the national telecast beginning at 7 p.m.
