Fivio Foreign to Headline Red Storm Tip-Off on Oct. 22

Brooklyn native to perform inside Carnesecca Arena as part of annual basketball celebration

QUEENS, N.Y. – A performance by Brooklyn native Fivio Foreign will headline the department's annual Red Storm Tip-Off on Friday, Oct. 22, inside Carnesecca Arena.

Doors for the event will open at 6:30 p.m.

Fivio Foreign will perform at the conclusion of the annual celebration to introduce students and fans to the Red Storm men's and women's basketball teams. Fivio Foreign rose to fame in 2019 and shortly thereafter signed a deal with Columbia Records. In addition to his popular hits, Fivio Foreign has been featured on songs with Drake, Kanye West and Lil Tjay, which all landed on the Billboard Hot 100 list. Fivio Foreign was also named XXL Magazine's 2020 Freshman Class List, an annual feature that showcases 10 rappers on the rise.

All attendees will be required to provide proof of vaccination and will be expected to wear a mask at all times while indoors.

Student tickets can be secured at the Carnesecca Arena box office beginning at 9 a.m. on the morning of Tip-Off.
