COVID issues in Pirate program result in forfeit win for Red Storm
QUEENS, N.Y. – COVID issues within the Seton Hall program have forced the cancellation of Monday's scheduled BIG EAST men's basketball game between the No. 16 Pirates and Red Storm.
In accordance with BIG EAST policy, the result will be a win by forfeit for St. John's and a loss will be assigned to Seton Hall in the conference standings.
The Red Storm will now open its BIG EAST slate with back-to-back home games at Carnesecca Arena against Butler on Dec. 23 and Marquette on Dec. 29.
