St. John’s Athletics Announces Policy Regarding Spectators

St. John’s University has set the following policy for all attendees at Red Storm athletic events in accordance with New York State and New York City requirements.

- All attendees ages 12 and older are required be fully vaccinated from COVID-19 in order to enter the University's athletic venues. Fully vaccinated individuals (at least 14 days after final dose) must present proof of COVID-19 vaccination with either a CDC vaccination card (a digital photo of the card is permissible) or an accredited mobile app (NYS Excelsior Pass, NYC COVID Safe, etc.). Attendees will also be expected to provide appropriate photo identification to corroborate the name on the vaccination card.
- Beginning with the women's basketball game against DePaul on Dec. 19, in accordance with New York City Emergency Executive Order 316, children between the ages of 5-11 must show proof of at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Beginning on Jan. 28, 2022, proof of full vaccination will be required for all individuals over the age of five.
- Children under the age of five can attend St. John's Athletic events with a vaccinated adult.
- All attendees are required to wear masks inside Carnesecca Arena. Individuals may remove masks while actively eating and drinking.
