Mike Anderson Joins the “St. John’s Red Storm Podcast”

Latest episode features a sit-down with the head coach of the Red Storm men’s basketball program
QUEENS, N.Y. (June 16, 2022)- Entering his fourth season at the helm of the St. John's men's basketball program, Head Coach Mike Anderson joins the latest edition of The St. John's Red Storm Podcast, presented by Teachers Federal Credit Union and available now on all platforms.
In this episode, Anderson sits down with hosts Ralph Bednarcyzk and John Minko to discuss a wide array of topics regarding the men's basketball team including the squad's roster, its five newcomers, its upcoming foreign tour to the Dominican Republic and the start of summer workouts.
In his first three years leading the Red Storm, Anderson has turned in three winning seasons, including a 16-11 mark in 2020-21 that featured a fourth-place BIG EAST finish. For his efforts, Anderson became the first St. John's head man in nearly three decades to be named BIG EAST Coach of the Year. After returning just three scholarship players a year ago, Anderson is set to welcome back eight student-athletes for the upcoming campaign, including 2021 BIG EAST Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year Posh Alexander. The Red Storm will also add two impact high-major transfers in Andre Curbelo and David Jones in addition to a three-man freshman class of AJ Storr, Kolby King and Mohamed Keita.
