Brian Kelly Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Sophomore tallied his first hat-trick of the season on Saturday
QUEENS, N.Y.- After notching his first hat-trick of the season on Saturday, sophomore attackman Brian Kelly was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
The Red Hook, N.Y., native scored three goals against No. 13/14 Delaware on Saturday afternoon with all three scores coming in the first half. In just 16 career games, Kelly has tallied three or more goals on four separate occasions.
Kelly has logged at least one point in all but one of his 16 appearances and has registered two or more points in 14 contests.
After Saturday's performance, Kelly now sits one point shy of 50 career points and leads the squad with five total points (four goals, one assist) in two starts in 2023. In six career games against nationally ranked opponents, Kelly has averaged 2.16 points per game.
Kelly and the Red Storm will open up the home portion of the 2023 schedule on Saturday when the Hofstra Pride comes calling. First face-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. from DaSilva Memorial Field.
